Amon Kotei has been at the forefront of Ghanaian art for decades. The designer of the Ghanaian national flag, Kotei has played an influential role in nurturing Ghanaian art and design.
His main theme is the Accra woman. In his words , they are ‘big, beautiful and full of life’. In his works he continually explores this love affair with the Accra woman. |
