Chuks Anyanwu was a Nigerian Painter and sculptor, known for his distinctive style that elegantly fused traditional folkloric scenes with geometric designs. His paintings, often characterized by intricate details and mixed media, reflect a delicate balance between tradition and modernism.

Anyanwu was born in 1937 in Nigeria. He studied graphic art, painting, textile design, and sculpture at the Yaba Technical Institute. Later, he attended The London Art College in 1959 and the College of Arts, Science, and Technology in Zaria where he studied fine art.

As a graphic artist, Anyanwu worked as an art director for newspapers in Nigeria and Ghana. His cartoons were popular with readers of the Nigerian Daily Service, Ghanaian Times, and The Nigerian Morning Post.

He died in 1990.
